We’re building Africa’s mental health moonshot. And we’re inviting everyone who shares that vision to build with us.

Building a learning organization

A commitment to science and learning

We're proving that local-led solutions can lead global innovation in mental health. That young people can support young people. That everything the orthodoxy said was impossible is just waiting for someone brave enough to try.

This is our moment to scale transformative, systemic change for millions of young people across Sub-Saharan Africa. And we're inviting everyone who shares that vision to build with us.

Join our team

We're building the organization that will reach 10 million youth across Sub-Saharan Africa by 2031, and that requires exceptional talent across research, operations, technology, communications, partnerships, and program delivery. We're multidisciplinary, mission-driven, and committed to evidence-based impact at scale. We move fast, learn constantly, and aren't satisfied with incremental change.

Implementing organizations and governments

We train and support organizations to become autonomous implementation units, each serving approximately 5,000 youth annually across 10-15 schools in their catchment areas. We provide comprehensive training on the Shamiri Model, intervention protocols, monitoring frameworks, and operational support—you bring local networks, contextual expertise, and commitment to fidelity.

Researchers & academic institutions

We're generating the evidence base that proves alternative models can work. We're actively collaborating with institutions worldwide on implementation science, cost-effectiveness research, and adaptation studies. If you're working on youth mental health in low-resource settings, let's explore how we can learn together.

Shamiri means "thrive". We are building a future where young people can thrive.
