Tom Osborn is recognized for leadership in social innovation and entrepreneurship. He holds fellowships from TED, Ashoka, Echoing Green, and other prestigious organizations, plus Forbes 30 Under 30 recognition. Before Shamiri, he founded GreenChar, a clean energy venture. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed papers in publications like JAMA Psychiatry and The Lancet, and co-authored a memoir. He is from rural Kenya, attended Alliance High School, and graduated with honors from Harvard University, currently based in Nairobi.
